Apple Orchard

Crisp, juicy, tart, sweet, and sooo delicious! That's what you'll get when you pick apples fresh from an apple orchard. Here's a close up picture for your eyes to take in. Yesterday we spent a fun afternoon picking apples at the Bradshaw Apple Orchard with the Tibbetts family. The girls enjoyed climbing trees, picking apples, swinging on a rope swing, and paddling across the pond. Whitney and Trent enjoyed sharing apples most of all!

Pampering the Queen

It's such a treat to have a foot bath and foot rub from my girls! I have to do some serious bribing to get them to do it, but it is very nice! They've got out of dish duty many times in exchange for a foot massage! The t-shirt says, "got books?" in case you're wondering, Sue!

Gardening with Schimbecks

 

We had a successful garden this year. Lots of cucumbers, onions, carrots, potatoes (thanks, Gpa Deon), tomatoes, peppers, squash, eggplant and melons! We'd all like to take credit, but Evan and Chicka really are the green thumbs of the family.
